Effect Of Low Temperature On Early Performance Of Concrete

Under low temperature conditions, bleeding will stay on the surface of concrete for a long time, which will affect the normal process of finishing. Finishing concrete surface without treatment of bleeding water is one of the main reasons for the surface defects of concrete. If the water pressure of the bleeding water is inserted into the concrete during the process of coating, the water cement ratio of the surface will increase, resulting in the reduction of strength, gas content and surface impermeability. Concrete materials should be designed to minimize bleeding. If bleeding occurs during construction, it should be removed prior to plastering.
