Compatibility issues between cement and admixtures

In the process of detecting admixtures, mixing cement and admixtures may have compatibility problems. There are two main reasons for this situation:

Over-mixing of polycarboxylate superplasticizer, prolonged setting time

Phenomenon: The concrete has a large slump, and the concrete does not finally set in 24 hours.

Application of superplasticizer in high performance concrete

The definition of high performance concrete generally includes high fluidity and long-term use of mechanical properties and durability.

Influence of a small amount of super-admixture of water reducer on the perfor...

If the amount of water reducing agent increases and the water consumption remains unchanged, the fluidity may exceed the expected range, and the workability of the concrete may become poor. If the con

Compatibility of admixtures and cement materials

The incompatibility between cement and concrete admixtures and the incompatibility between admixtures will cause great changes in concrete properties and affect the quality of concrete. Cement substit

The strength of the water reducing agent is low

The strength is much lower than that of the trial mix at the same age, or although the concrete has set, the strength is extremely low.
