With the development of concrete construction technology, the whole process control of concrete construction quality has been widely accepted. As an important procedure and link in the concrete pouring process, the temperature protection and maintenance of concrete should also be well designed and constructed, and the quality control of each link should be implemented.
Concrete curing measures mainly include spray and water curing: a mist insulation layer is formed over the surface to reduce the intensity of direct sunlight and the ambient temperature of the surface concrete in the process of pouring, which has a good effect on reducing the temperature rise in the process of concrete pouring vibration. Surface water curing can reduce the maximum temperature of concrete at the early stage by about 1.5℃. However, due to the poor flatness of the pouring surface, it is difficult to achieve all water on the surface, and at the same time, it has great interference with the concrete construction in the adjacent construction section, so it is difficult to implement.
Concrete surface protection is mainly based on surface insulation and moisture. The causes of concrete surface cracks are shrinkage and temperature stress. The surface cracks caused by dry shrinkage are usually only a few centimeters deep, which are mainly solved by maintenance. Temperature factors causing surface tensile stress include temperature change, hydration heat and initial temperature difference. The temperature changes mainly include: temperature drop, annual and diurnal variations, especially when the internal temperature is high in the early stage of concrete pouring, surface protection should be paid attention to. It is the most effective measure to prevent surface cracks by covering the surface of concrete with plastic film or wet burlap bag.
