What are the environmental sensitivities of polycarboxylate superplasticizers

Oct 12, 2020

1. The sensitivity of polycarboxylic acid to water.

As the water reduction rate is relatively higher than that of neisseria and alifatic, and has high dispersity, the water reduction rate above 30% is more obvious with the increase of mixing amount, so pay attention to the comprehensive adjustment of mixing amount and dosage to avoid the segregation board bleeding and excessive gas content after overmixing.

The raw materials used include the change of wet and dry water content of ground materials, the adaptability and consistency of cement, and the change of water requirement of specific surface area of fineness of admixture.

Rain and snow weather, the ground material water change sharply.

The measurement should be accurate.

2. Temperature sensitivity of polycarboxylic acid.

Temperature difference between day and night, temperature change point between morning and night.

Water temperature, ground temperature and rubber temperature specifications shall not be greater than 60°C.

Especially hot summer, mix the long-distance transportation and time relationship, mix the state, tank tank body temperature, whether to take water cooling measures, or an appropriate amount of water and a little admixture to maintain the freshness of mix, when let to consider the quality strength and durability.

In winter, considering the low air temperature, the increase of slump delay and the decrease of mixture temperature are not conducive to the initial reaction, so as to avoid the serious sinking of blasting mold and concrete stones, which will affect the homogeneity of the structure.

3. Polycarboxylate superplasticizer has a high sensitivity to aggregate mud content, which is mainly reflected in the increase of doping amount with the increase of mud content. Therefore, excessive mud content of aggregate should be avoided.
