HPEG 2400 is a kind of main raw material (polycarboxylate ether monomer) for producing high performance water reducing type polycarboxylate superplasticizer , it is produced with methallyl alcohol and ethylene epoxide as main raw materials.
Chemical formula
CH2=C(CH3)CH2O (CH2CH2O)nH, n=10~60. HPEG 2400 is a polyoxyethylene monomethallyl ether with molecular weight 2400.

Core Advantages
High reactivity: The hydroxyl group (-OH) at the end of the molecule is easy to react with unsaturated carboxylic acid (such as acrylic acid) to form the main chain of the water reducer.
Long side chain structure: The PEO chain (polyoxyethylene) provides a steric hindrance effect, enhancing the dispersibility and slump retention of cement particles.
Low chlorine and low alkali: Meet the low corrosion requirements of high-standard concrete (such as nuclear power and high-speed rail) for admixtures.
Environmental protection: It does not contain harmful substances such as formaldehyde and naphthalene, and meets GB 8076-2008, EN 934 and other standards.
Principle
This product is the main raw material for high performance polycarboxylate superplasticizer with the properties of non-toxic, non-corrossive and good water-soluble. High performance polycarboxylate superplasticizer made from HPEG has such advantages as superior dispersing maintenance, low dosage, high water reducing ratio, good adhensive property, good reinforcing effects, good durability, no corrosion to steel bar and environment-friendly etc. PCE made from HPEG 2400 can be used to produce high performance, high strength commercial concrete at work site or long-distant convey.

Storage:
It is non-toxic, non-flammable and can be shipped as general chemicals. Avoid direct sunlight. Keep away from fire or any kind of heat source. Stored separately with oxidants ,strong acids and alkali in cool and ventilated place.
