Technical Principle
The main chain of high-performance polycarboxylate water-reducing agent molecules is adsorbed on the surface of cement particles, which can effectively hinder hydration and enhance fluidity retention. The branch chains are surrounded by cement particles, which play a dual role of steric hindrance and electrostatic repulsion. Polycarboxylate PCE is completely different from conventional water reducing agents, and has better dispersibility and water reducing effect.
Advantages/Characteristics:
1) Polycarboxylate PCE with solid content : 97% min. ( If it is used for ready mix concrete or precast concrete, please add PCE powder to water to get a solution with solid content 20% or 10% before use ).
(2) With a high slump retention ability, enhence cohesion, without concrete segregation.
(3) With a good dispersion, an excellent adaptability to different cements, and good water-reducing properties.
Usages and Cautions:
(1) A recommended dosage is 0.16%-0.4% by the weight of cementious materials. Actual dosages should be determined by mixture design test according to concrete strength grade.
(2) Concrete test must be carried out before utilization.
(3) This product is forbidden to be mixed with naphthalene sulphonate.
(4) Compatibility test must be done when it is used together with other admixtures.
Package: Packed in 25kg plastic woven bags with PE inner liner, 16 mt with pallets loaded in one 20’GP, 27 mt with pallets loaded in 40’HQ by sea, 25.5 mt with pallets loaded in 40’HQ by train
Shelf time: 0℃-40℃ the shelf life is 12 months.
Application
1. Suitable for all kinds of ready-mixed concrete and precast concrete, especially suitable for dry-mixed mortar. It can also be used for oil well cementing operations.
2. Especially suitable for construction projects that require high concrete performance, such as water conservancy, ocean, port, transportation, and electricity.
3. It is suitable for special concrete such as high strength, high durability, self-compacting concrete.
